Grass Lake, MI 49240
The United Methodist Church celebrates its 181st year of fellowship, discipleship and outreach within the Grass Lake community. The Church is an 11-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens doors and opens minds through active engagement with our world.

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.

Grass Lake United Methodist Church began in 1832 with the present building being built in 1861 at the cost of $10.000. In 1965, Wesley Hall was added, and in 1974 the sancutary was remodeled again.
